A native of Detroit, Michigan, Ms Ryan has entertained and delighted millions of people for more than 25 years as an actress, singer, recording artist, nightclub, and concert performer.

Rarely do we find a talent that gives 100% and more, but Ms. Ryan does exactly that, packing each and every performance with emotion and her unique expressive style. From the hottest night spots throughout the Midwest and Coast to coast, to the fabulous Las Vegas Strip to the cruise decks of some of the most famous ships in the United States.... from just about anywhere in the world to stages, television, and the silver screen, Ms. Ryan captures her audiences by first alluring them with her vocal magic then trapping them with her charm, wit, passion, and sincerity.

Ms. Ryan’s Broadway credits include, Dreamgirls, (the role of Effie White, Ain’t Misbehavin, (the role of Nell Carter) Chicago the Musical, (the role of Matron Mama Morton) and Madison Square Gardens A Christmas Carol, (the role of The Ghost Of Christmas Present) Ms Ryan was the first woman to ever perform that role. Additional theater credits include the Role of Bloody Mary in the musical South Pacific in Thailand, Australia and China. Blues in The Night, for which Ms. Ryan was awarded both the Carbonell and Zoni Award for Best Actress in a Musical. The Old Settler, Seven Guitars, and Cole Porter Request The Pleasure, in which she gave another award winning performance; receiving the Carbonell Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Ms. Ryan is also an accomplished actress, well known to television viewers as Amelia Heterbrink on the hit sitcom "Amen", and Mrs. Dixon on the hit sitcom "Good News". Film work include Francis Ford Coppola’s "The Cotton Club", "Went to Coney Island", Disney’s Animated Feature "Hercules", (the voice of
Thalia), the Hercules television cartoon series on ABC and Mrs. William’s in "Nikita Blues" - a film produced by Roz Ryan and Marc Cayce.
She did her thing as "Flo Anderson" on the  hit WB series "All About The Andersons". And as a songbird sister on "JAG" she brought the show up a note. In 2005,  she is "Mae Palmer" on The Showtime series "BARBERSHOP". There is soooo much on the horizon !

Between 2006-2008, she recorded numerous voiceovers in radio, television and animation, as well as toured with the broadway and international companies of "Chicago : the Musical". But in 2008, the world began calling her "BUBBIE the blue beluga whale!" on the international animated hit "The Marvelous Misadventures of FlapJack" on Cartoon Network. And as of 5.29.2009, two more future animated hits are in the works!
